RSJ PowerFunds, Inc. PCC ("RSJ PowerFunds") is a company structured for collective investment activities. RSJ PowerFunds has been licensed since August 2005 in compliance with Financial Services Development Act 2001 and granted authorization by the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius. Deloitte has been designated as the company's independent auditor.
RSJ PowerFunds is divided into several separate cells ("hedge funds"), whose money is invested according to the investment strategies set out in the statutes of individual hedge funds. RSJ Invest, a.s. - a licensed Czech brokerage company whose activity is subject to inspection by the Czech National Bank - was appointed as the Asset Manager for RSJ PowerFunds in September 2005. We expect the membership of RSJ PowerFunds on commodity exchange CME by the end of 2009.
The investment strategies of RSJ PowerFunds hedge funds include trading with financial derivatives ("TurboEquities" and "STS HighYield" hedge funds), investing in emerging markets equity instruments (the "NewMarkets" hedge fund) and debt instruments (the "SmartBonds" hedge fund).
